ok, thanks. what i see on another site on their blog posts is below, but this is not on my site. its part of the yoast meta but not sure how it is getting added on their site…looks like site info + social info which i have included in settings already?

i am looking at https://yoast.com/google-search-sitelinks/
i see my search results in step 1 ok, and step 2 says code should be automatically added, but i dont see any code in my <!– / Yoast SEO plugin. –>

i have got it owrking by adding /feed to the shop url, but there are no product images showing. any ideas how to get the woo product images included in the feed?

it was showing in the plugins dashboard and updated ok.

will keep an eye on it… i posted in one of my FB groups and someone else had the same happen the same day. maby 2 isolated cases but worth keeping an eye on

or should i just delete all the children sitemaps i have submitted to search console and replace with the 1 sitemap_index.xml ?

good points… i wonder what the reason for the change was and if the devs agree it may not be an ideal update for many of us?!

@irongenetics96 i thought i was going crazy… spent all day trying to figure this one out!

there is also an issue in that now the links are wrapped up in a form, if any external links are http rather than https you get a non secure warning in the browser which doesnt happen with the old version of external.php

thanks. do you know why this file was updated the way it was so i can understand what risk i may take by using the old file?
