Thanks for the very quick reply!
I’m using Firefox with only 2 extensions – McAfee SiteAdvisor and NordPass password manager.
I did as you requested, extensions off and incognito mode and all worked as expected. I tested on another PC and with same extension and normal browser mode and that too also worked.I’m thinking a cache or something locally on my PC is causing the issue then as all seems ok now.
Really appreciate such a quick reply and thank you for your support.

Enabling debug mode doesn’t display any errors.
To confirm I added the below to the wp-config.php file and then browsed the website.define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
