That was the problem. To restore the newsletter I clicked the revert hardening option on “Restrict wp-content access”. I left wp-includes access enabled but I think I’m going to uninstall Sucuri because BPS it’s really good and does the job properly.
The log is empty.
Sorry, I noticed the problem was caused by Sucuri plugin.
BPS works perfectly fine.Thank you.
I notice a new problem with 403 error.
I have the Newsletter plugin Version 3.8.5 By Stefano Lissa, when I try to subscribe it gives me the 403 error.Could I allow the plugin?
The protection code was saved in the BPS Custom code as well and I deleted it.
Thanks!
I checked the htaccess and deleted the additional Brute Force Login protection code, now it works great.
Thank you for the support!
AlexMy web host gave me full access to the htaccess file.
The alert disappeared, the site works but now, when I go to the admin url, I got the 403 errorYou don’t have permission to access /wp-login.php on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Thank you for your quick reply.
I’ve just sent an email to my web host customer service, I let you know what I find out.Best wishes,
Alex
