 * A quick update – as the issue is getting out of hand, I had to disable new user
   registrations.
 * I really have no idea how to proceed so I hope to hear from you soon.

 * Thank you for the response.
 * Disabling Jetpack fixed the issue, however I needed to turn it back on as I have
   no alternative at this point. I got in touch with their support but got, I assume,
   an AI response referring me back to a theme-related issue.
 * So I’m kind of stuck here and I’d appreciate any suggestions you might have. 
   And I’m totally lost as to why it works in the side bar and not as part of a 
   page. (Sorry, I had to remove the widget from the main page until we get this
   resolved.)
