Not using the pro version.
Thanks for the response -it seems it’s the issue is being caused by Contact Form 7 Multi Step Pro plugin when used incombination to yours.
Is this a known issue?

I’m having the exact same issue.
My mailchimp used to be connected to my shopify store. I then sussessfully synced with the staging Woocommerce website (which I’ve since disconnected) but now really struggling to connect to the live site.Here’s the details as per your request to Overdriver:
Plugin 2.3.4
WordPress 5.3.2 running Astra theme.
Running PHP version: 7.1.33
no logs as it just keeps trying to connect
caching plugins installed but deactivatedthanks
the problem seems to be fixed. was a plugin conflict
