Try using a translation plugin like Loco Translate. * Here is how it worked for me: 1. First, go to Settings>General and changed my language to English (Canada) 2. Install the Loco Translate plugin and activate it. 3. Click the Loco Translate plugin in the dashboard and then click on Support Candy, click new language, choose English (Canada). 4. I had this same issue, that checkbox fixed it. Used both Chrome and Safari. Same result. * Connected to my VPN and was able to login and disable the plugin.
