thanks Michael. That was the original question. On the page that has the event, I have put the short code for submitting but it submits with pending approval rather than auto approve. Is there a different shortcode which corresponds with auto approve or is there something to add to [badgeos_submission] shortcode which will make this happen?

thanks. attending the event. So, it would be nice to have submit form which is labelled in some way that the user is notifying that the event has been completed. I am not sure how this submission form is designed to operate – it has fields for uploading file and another text file without any instruction to user as to what files are required or what type. It appears that the user can click submit without uploading file or adding text. It would be useful if the form had some instructional text which might include ‘submit if completed’, ‘attach gpx file if completed’ or some such. thanks again.

looking at the documentation again, the shortcode is for a non-badgeos page that is ‘tied to an achievement’. How then do I tie an event which is created in Event Manager (with it’s maps, timing etc) to an achievement. I can’t see a way of linking this event to an achievement.
