    Hi,

Thanks for working with me via email. Using the staging site you set up, I was able to find the conflict…it’s something with the SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin.

We’ll work on fixing this for a future version, but in the meantime, if you want to export from your production site, simply deactivate the SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin temporarily, run the export, download the file, and then immediately reactivate the SSL plugin. The export usually takes less than a minute, so it should be pretty quick! 🙂

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Got it – thanks.

I just tried downloading the file and see the same issue. It takes 20-35 seconds to generate the CSV file, and then downloads normally, but the file has no content.

I just got your email as well – so let’s communicate on email and then once we have solution I’ll update this thread.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi Leigh Anne –

Sorry that didn’t fix it! Unfortunately this kind of thing is difficult to troubleshoot without really being able to access your site. Would you be willing to provide me with an admin login so I can take a look? If so, please create a new administrator account with email address [email protected] and have it send us the password reset email.

Better yet, if you have a staging site, maybe you can make sure it’s synced to the current live site, and I can log into that instead?

If you’re not comfortable with that, I totally understand. Maybe as a next step you could provide a list of all the plugins you have installed?

It also looks like you have a custom theme, so it could be something there that’s conflicting — I’d love to be able to review of your theme’s functions.php file if possible, too.

Please do NOT post any passwords, etc. here. You can just create an account for us or email us directly and we’ll go from there!

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Hi! This is the first time we’ve run into this issue. This is for https://www.yourhomebasedmom.com, correct?

It looks like you have a lazy load tool — and a .webp image optimization tool in place. I’m wondering if maybe those are interfering with our script.

Would you please try disabling those features (one at a time), and re-downloading the CSV, to see if one of those is the conflict? Thanks!

    Hi Tonia!

I replied back but my answer has gone into moderation.. so I’ll just add the short answer here: I think you’re fine. The two empty alt tags I found on that page are hidden images related to your Create card. Screen readers will ignore images with empty alt tags, which in this case I think is what you want. 🙂

    Hi Tonia!

If you view the source of your page, and then search for alt="" you should find it (buried!) in the HTML code. (Command-F or Ctrl-F is super-helpful here.)

    view-source:https://www.thegunnysack.com/pizza-soup-with-homemade-croutons/

It looks like in this case, both empty alt tags are related to your Create recipe card — looks like they’re for hidden Pinterest images. If that’s the case, having an empty alt tag is correct, since you would want a screen reader to ignore it anyway.

So if all 675 empty tags are coming from this, I think you’re just fine.

    Hope that helps!

@5fifty It looks like you were able to get the plugin “reopened” – very glad to see it!

@es-ivy It would be best if you open a new support thread, rather than adding on to this one, so the developer can help you out there. 🙂

    Hey Luke,

Do you happen to have the contact info for 5fifty? I”m not able to find it, and I need to make serious attempts to contact them before the Plugin team will consider allowing me to take over management of this plugin.

(Probably best not to post it here.. you can email me at andrew – at – nerdpress – dot – net.)

    Thanks! 🙂
