In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] store not workingWhat is the address of the page where you see the problem? What exactly do you see as wrong in the shop?
Have you any idea what time-scales we are working to – so I can brief client?
No exact ETA yet. However I suppose that it will be released in 1.5-2 months.
Essentially, client doesn’t want the shopper to have to leave the product category page for every small value cart purchase.
Hi,
This feature will be released in the next Ecwid version (v13.1).You can find lots of answers about Ecwid in the help portal at http://help.ecwid.com
Particularly regarding the product variations like sizes you need to set up product options: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853269/How%20to%20add%20product%20options%20to%20your%20products and then for the separate stock tracking for each of them establish the product combinations over each of the separately tracked variations of your product, setting their separate stock quantities (the product combinations option is only available at the paid plans of Ecwid; more information on combinations can be found here: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/40532454/Product%20Combinations )
In order to investigate this problem, we need the access to the problematic page. Please, send the access credentials to [email protected].

In reply to: Downloadable ContentI’ve experimented with ecwid but I can’t itegrate the appearance of the shop in with the website’s template
Hi,
What issues did you have? How can we help?Hi,
Thank you for your kind words : -)Can you please show a screen-shot of the issue?
I solved this problem by switching to the Yoast SEO plugin but have now learned through the Ecwid forums that this plugin negatively interacts with Ecwid, by setting an “incorrect” canonical URL preventing indexing of the store.
Hi,
Actually, the Yoast plug-in can be slightly modified to fix the canonical URL issue with Ecwid. Please, post a message in the thread on the Ecwid forums and we will help you to modify it.Thanks for the information! We will try to reproduce the problem once again, maybe a specific combination of settings causes the issue.
Hi,
We’ve checked Ecwid with HeadSpace2. We’ve installed both plugins and enabled all HeadSpace2’s settings. Then we opened the store page and Ecwid loaded properly, without any issues.
So, could you please provide some more information?
– What WP theme do you use?
– What HeadSpace2’s settings does your “Store” page have?Hi,
Thank you for the report. We’re investigating.I added the plugin to our WordPress site. Where can I find information on how to add/edit/delete the categories and products? Thanks.
All product management is done in the Ecwid control panel at https://my.ecwid.com Why such approach is cool:
– you can install your store on several sites and still manage it from one place
– your store will work with any site or CMS. So, for example, if you decide to update your blog/WP, it will not break anything. Please refer to our knowledge base for details on how to manage and customize Ecwid: http://kb.ecwid.com
