In reply to: [Ultimate Product Catalog] Short code on Auto Created page “Store”Hi Dennis,
Ecwid team here.
The shortcode you mentioned is usually placed by the Ecwid shopping cart plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ecwid-shopping-cart/ . The plugin is used to add an online store to WordPress sites and to manage products, orders and store setting in the WordPress admin backend. When the Ecwid plugin is active, the shortcode is replaced with a products catalog on the site so that the visitors can browse and purchase your products.
While it’s totally possible to add that shortcode by hand, I think it’s more likely it was automatically added by our plugin when you installed the plugin. Did you install the Ecwid plugin on your site?
If you have an Ecwid account and want your products to be displayed on the Store page on your site, you will need to re-install or re-activate the Ecwid plugin on your site. If you want to remove the Ecwid shortcodes or the Store page itself, you can do that in your WordPress admin backend in the Pages section.
Please let us know if you need any help with it.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Awesome supportThanks for your kind words! We appreciate that.
Great!
Thank you for reporting. That helps a lot!
We fixed it. Please upgrade your plugin to the latest version and check — the issue should be resolved.
We located the problem.
It’s caused by one of the recent changes in our plugin and the WordPress editor. In fact, the “Restore backup” messages do not mean there is a change that has not been not saved. The restore backup messages are normally hidden, but one of our CSS changes (editor page layout tweaks) made them appear. So, all your data is safe and the warning messages are indeed erroneous.
We are now fixing it. Fix ETA 2-3 hours.
We managed to replicate the issue on our local installation and will start working on the fix shortly. I will inform you of the progress here in 1-2 hours.
Sorry for the troubles caused by this.
Thanks for the report. We’re looking into it.
