In reply to: Uploading PhotosYes Yes Yes That seems to have cracked it
I have tried uploading three assorted pictures via Chrome and bingo big and little they all appeared. Not tried the other browsers yet but that will be later in the week as the next few days are a bit backed up.
A thousands thanks for the help. Me being completely new to word press websites meant I had not a clue were to start. Hopefully I can slowly get to grips with what I have to do over the coming weeks
I am one of two or three who can update the site and we are running version 3.9.2. I see version 4 is available but one of the other members told me not to upgrade as whole websites can crash with it. Do you know if that is still the case?
Cheers Edward

In reply to: Uploading PhotosWhat I do is log in to the site
Then to try and upload a picture
I select in posts say club exhibition
then I click add media
then click add files
then click select files and browse to the photo location
click open and the upload begins.A small icon with a turned down corner is on screen with a green bar underneath showing the upload progress. On the right is the details of the photo everything in fact except the actual photo. Tried normal sized photos, made one really small but the result is always the same except for the one occasion in firefox and explorer when it worked but since then zilch.
If you go to posts on the site and look at the post saying 2014 club exhibition is nearly here you will see a poster uploaded by someone else and next to it the icon entitled lucys eye.
And thanks for explaining the picture perfect theme.
