thanks guys. it’s just that the interface has disappeared on my website. I had not updated the theme for a long time. now sometimes I can go between editing and the published page without being thrown out and having to sign in again, but mostly not. but now the friend who set up my website eons ago has given me the login screen so I can always get back in. and thanks so much Samuel O., that would be it!
I’m having the same problem, quite frustrating! even if I leave the images in the order they were originally, from the first image you can only navigate backwards! confusing for one’s readership, enough to put them off
