I did have both enabled, but any G-Pay testing was getting handled by PayPal so I didn’t even notice, since that’s the behavior I wanted. And I don’t know if the issue is related to Link. As far as your backend says, Link IS the express checkout, and I have it enabled. But as far as me seeing any changes on the frontend, whether it’s enabled or not, there is no visible or functional difference. Which is why I asked if this is similar behavior to having Apple enabled. Since I don’t have an apple device, I don’t see it. Since I personally don’t have my CC saved to Link, am I not seeing the so-called “express checkout?”

To reiterate: All settings are correct–assuming Link/Stripe really should be offering a one-click express checkout like the PayPal and G-Pay buttons do. Stripe is tested and working as it should–as far as processing payments go, at least. However, the only way for someone to actually pay with Stripe is to add their items–whether single or multiple–to the cart, view the cart, proceed to checkout, and THEN choose the pay with credit card option.

Going back to my initial post where where the log is saying express isn’t showing because of $0 items, I also changed/looked at that. There is one item not available yet that doesn’t have a price so I added a price. Still no express. And the only other test items I have–that don’t have a price–are in draft mode and hopefully irrelevant.

I don’t know what else to check, although I think I might have stumbled on something just now. The ONLY way–it appears–for your plugin to customize/select where express checkout is seen is if Google and Apple Pay are selected.

So because there are a few products in the store–that are private, by the way–there is no express checkout for any other product? Or does this plugin not really provide an express checkout for stripe like I have for PayPal, Google, and Apple? In the case of each of those, all a customer needs to do is click on of their buttons, which I assume means express checkout.

Instead, if someone wants to pay with stripe, they need to add to cart and then checkout via stripe.

Please explain how this makes sense.

Sorry, I haven’t had time to get back to this.

I’ll test it today or tomorrow but my concern was since the error seems to only happen every week or so, deactivating my plugins for a brief period seems a little pointless. But I could be missing something!

When you say check if the issue persists, do you simply mean check if MM_COUNTRY_CODE, GEOIP_COUNTRY_CODE etc., now have a check mark? Or are you saying wait to see if I get another error message?

I do have the exact same fatal errors from the 2nd, but didn’t add them.

And something else I noticed after posting this that is likely related. Around the same time as errors that hit on the 9th, I’ve got some external tracking stats that indicate someone was trying to get by my store’s geolocation restrictions using a proxy. Could that be the cause of the error and if so, what can I do at the store level to protect against that?
