Was hoping that Hostgator and / or WP would resolve this issue, but hope alone is not a good strategy. When in file manager in c-panel: which directory do I choose and how do I proceed from there? I would like to (as suggested by others) re-install the theme (Customizr) as that appears to be a nice solution.

From the postings here it sounds as though the best solution is to delete the theme (Customizr) and re-install it. Hostgator is hosting my site. Can I perform this through C-panel? Any suggestions? Would appreciate help. This has gotten me quite rattled.
