i’ve got a crazy system on my server:
database manager where i have a numbered user and then i can create a db:
i also have another section called phpmyadmin: where i can also create a db i think a mysql db. i’ve used database manager and get a garbled page when i run wp-admin/install.. i’ve given permissions to most files in root of wppress on server and to wpadmin/install. what gives. should i use the mentioned phpmyadmin? my server tech is no help at all. they don’t know their apps on the server.
