http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backupand suddenly realized I needed to open the existing WordPress database and then import the unzipped backup file, overriding the old. As soon as I did that, it worked!Thanks very much for all your efforts – the plugin worked beautifully!
