 * Nevermind! I managed to fix it. I hadn’t stripped all the code out of the .htaccess
   last time and re-installing a new copy did the trick.

 * Thank you so much!! It turns out it was a conflict with the ‘Async Javascript’
   plugin. I switched from ‘async’ to ‘defer’ and it totally fixed the problem.

 * Thank you! Unfortunately I’ve already been using WP Super Cache for a while now
   and although it’s definitely helped in some aspects, the error persists.
 * I will definitely look into a new host provider. Thanks.
