You need to use the facebook – like box widget
you can enter your facebook id and all the other widgets will work
took me 30 minutes to figure that one out stupid thing
I don’t know it seems like the update is trying to create that file on the server to install the update

I originally started my blog on wordpress.com and now I have bought a domain and hosting with the idea of moving my blog
I’ve uploaded wordpress to my hosting account and everything seems fine but I get the above message when trying to install the plugin to move my blog from wordpress.com
I’ve also tried to upgrade to the new wordpress and it gives me the same messages
any help with this would be good
