 * Maybe more to the point is this: I’m trying to display the content of two random
   posts side by side on the front page, so that when the page is refreshed (or 
   one of the posts is clicked, which refreshes the page) a new pair of random posts
   appears in their place.
 * Post Tiles seems to be an image-oriented plugin, but it’s so darn useful, couldn’t
   it be adapted to this use? If so, that would be a tremendous help to me.

 * On reflection, I suppose I could just set the Excerpt Length to a huge number
   like 99,999 words, and just make sure that the box will accommodate whatever 
   length of text there is.
