Hi,
That’s because of the Slideout push effect that uses Css 3d transitions.
There are 2 ways of sorting this, the easy one is to change the Menu Display type to Slideout Over content.The second solution will be to detach that element that you want to be in a fixed position.
There is a specific field for it in General Options-> Sticky Html Elements
Just place there the id or css class of the element.Let me know if you need help to identify the id or css class of your new fixed section.

Check if you have the option “Parent Link open submenu” enabled, in that case the click opens the submenu. Disable that option.
