Hello,
In the new version, we updated several dependencies, and one of them introduced a bug in the Vimeo provider that prevented the preview image from being loaded correctly.
This regression has already been fixed here:
https://github.com/nk-o/video-worker/pull/25The issue will be resolved in the next plugin release. Thank you for reporting it.

In reply to: [Custom Block Builder - Lazy Blocks] [BUG] Code Editor color CSSHello,
This issue appears to be related to Lazy Blocks Pro, as the stylesheet in question is loaded from the Pro plugin:
/wp-content/plugins/lazy-blocks-pro/build/extend-control-code-editor.cssSupport for Pro features and Pro-specific issues is handled through our premium support channel. Please contact our team here:
https://www.lazyblocks.com/support/We’ll be happy to look into it and get back to you as quickly as possible.

AlexHello,
Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the reported issue on my end. I tested it using the latest version of Lazy Blocks along with the additional plugins you mentioned. As shown in the screen recording, I did not observe any rendering problems during testing: https://share.thedevoice.com/Mz9kKlKW0PzKwBr6SZ0t
While there are some errors visible in the browser console, they do not appear to be related to the rendering issue you described.

In reply to: [Custom Block Builder - Lazy Blocks] Let’s Make Lazy Blocks Even More AmazingHello.
Thanks for the suggestions, Joe.
We’ll keep the select2 idea in mind, but at the moment it isn’t one of our priorities. If we add this kind of functionality in the future, it would most likely be as a feature for the Pro plugin rather than the free version.
As for loading Select options from JSON, at the moment the closest supported workflow is to prepare the block with the required Select choices in advance and then import the whole block configuration via JSON/PHP export-import:
https://www.lazyblocks.com/docs/export-blocks/The idea of dynamically populating Select choices from a JSON source is interesting, but right now it’s hard to see a way to implement it in the block editor UI that would still stay lightweight and easy to use.
We appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind for future improvements.

AlexHello,
Thank you for your report. We were able to reproduce the issue and prepare a fix for this pr: https://github.com/nk-crew/lazy-blocks/pull/370.
We will update the plugin in a future release, and this issue should no longer occur.Regards,

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Display image title on hoverHello,
Yes, this is possible.
Please use the Fade skin and enable the title in the skin settings:
Fade Skin ElementsYou’ll also need to make sure the image title source is set correctly and that your images have titles assigned

AlexHello,
Please try deactivating all plugins except Visual Portfolio. Then switch to a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Five.
After that, reactivate the plugins one by one until you identify the cause of the issue. If the problem still persists, switch back from the default theme to your original theme. This process should help determine which plugin is causing the conflict.
Once you identify the conflicting plugin, I’ll review it and see what we can do next.

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Hover animation stopped workingHi Cinthya,
We checked your site page
On our side, the Visual Portfolio hover effect is currently working correctly. We tested the portfolio items and the fade overlay, text appearance, and image zoom animation are all still active, so at the moment this does not look like a plugin issue on the live page.
Because of that, the most likely cause is cached or overridden styles on the site. We recommend clearing your site/cache/CDN cache and browser cache first, then checking whether any recent theme, custom CSS, or optimization changes may have affected the portfolio item styles. If you still see the issue after that, please let us know on which page and in which browser it happens, and we’ll take a closer look.

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Not loading on phonesHello,
We checked your page:
https://www.dettaglioauto.it/portfolio-ppf/The issue is not with the gallery itself and not with phones specifically. The cause appears to be JavaScript optimization on the site, most likely in WP Rocket. Because of this, the Visual Portfolio scripts are loaded/executed in the wrong order, and the gallery does not finish initializing, so only the V loading icon remains visible on the screen.
Please open the same page using this link:
https://www.dettaglioauto.it/portfolio-ppf/?nowprocket=1The ?nowprocket=1 parameter temporarily disables WP Rocket processing for that page. In this mode, the gallery loads correctly, which confirms that the issue is caused by script optimization / delayed JavaScript execution.
To fix it, please try the following:
- In WP Rocket, temporarily disable Delay JavaScript Execution and test the page again.
- If that fixes the issue, add the following scripts/paths to the exclusions list: visual-portfolio, /wp-content/plugins/visual-portfolio/, wp-i18n, wp-hooks, wp-data, wp-date, moment
If JavaScript minification/combination is enabled, please also test the page with JS optimization disabled.
After making changes, be sure to clear:
- WP Rocket cache
- minify cache
- server / Cloudflare cache, if used

AlexHello,
The skin’s hover state is available exclusively in the Pro version of the plugin. You can learn more about it here: https://www.visualportfolio.com/docs/gallery-blocks/skin/classic/#hover-state
If you’re using Elementor, you’ll need to save your layout using Saved Layouts, then select it in the Elementor widget. For more information, visit: https://www.visualportfolio.com/docs/saved-layouts-and-shortcodes/elementor/

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Page speed optimisingHi! Thanks for the report.
The files you see in PageSpeed (“render‑blocking requests”) are the Fancybox vendor CSS (jquery.fancybox.min.css, ~3 KB) and our small wrapper CSS (popup-fancybox.css, ~1 KB). They are loaded only when the lightbox is enabled:
- When a Visual Portfolio block/shortcode uses On click / Items click action = Popup Gallery, and/or
- When Visual Portfolio → Settings → Popup Gallery → “Lightbox for WordPress Images” is enabled (this loads lightbox assets site‑wide for native WP images/galleries).
Because these are CSS files, PageSpeed will list them as render‑blocking by design, but they’re very small. If you see ~800 ms “duration” for a few KB CSS file, that’s usually server/hosting latency (TTFB) rather than Fancybox itself.
What you can do:
- If you don’t need the lightbox on that page, disable it:
– In the portfolio/block settings change On click to something other than Popup Gallery;
– Or turn off “Lightbox for WordPress Images” in Visual Portfolio → Settings → Popup Gallery. - If you do need the lightbox, focus on caching/TTFB improvements (page cache, CDN like Cloudflare, compression, etc.). You can also use a performance plugin’s LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize feature; delaying the lightbox CSS is possible but may cause the popup to appear unstyled on first open.

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Add complex GIFs to the gridHello,
Visual Portfolio doesn’t enforce a hard GIF size limit, but a practical one exists. Larger files slow down your site by increasing download and decoding time, especially when your grid contains many GIFs.
As a guideline, keep hover GIFs under 2 MB. Files exceeding 3–5 MB, particularly in large numbers, will noticeably slow down your site.

AlexHello,
Unfortunately, our plugin has never supported the Blocksy theme. My tests confirmed that it did not work properly in the past.
We will add theme support in a future release, and I have already included the necessary changes in this pull request: https://github.com/nk-crew/visual-portfolio/pull/257
Stay tuned for an update. In the meantime, you can use the Code Snippets plugin to add the code from this video: https://share.thedevoice.com/MCRh0c79Lgs5XR6hH2hT

AlexHello,
I tested your site in Safari Version 26.1 (20622.2.11.119.1) on macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 and on an iOS device running Safari 26.2. Everything appears to be working correctly.
