I got it fixed. I didn’t notice on top of the pluggins page that it said that my current version of PHP was not compatible with WP Tiles. I went in and updated that and everything works fine now.

I forgot to add that the WP Tile button in the dashboard is gone as well. I have tried deactivating the pluggin and then reactivating it but it doesn’t seem to help.

Unfortunately, that option does not appear in my theme. Maybe it has to do with the theme. The only options I get is “thumbnail grid” and “slideshow”. But it doesn’t matter because I got it to work with posts, but the gallery option would have been nice. Maybe in update it might be addressed.

    Hey viv,

I got no response to my question and after going through the instructions again I still couldn’t find an answer. So I resorted to creating a post for each pic and inserting the pic in the body of the post, which I thought would work. However all that gave me was a bunch of colored tiles. So for each post I used the photo that was in the post as the featured image and that worked. I must have missed that in the instructions. But whatever it seems to work now. It is a shame to have to create posts for each just to make the tiles, but I guess the developer had his reasons. It would have been nice just to use pics in the library, but it seems to be no go and he isn’t answering anything differently. It is a cool plugin, but thank god you don’t have to pay for it because the tech help… not so great.
