Have you set the backup destination folder with regular slashes? Try backslashes?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] I think I'm stuck at 28%(@mod Thanks, will point people to pastebin next time.)
@cloudduster Please try this:
1. Create a separate backup job for files only.
2. In Add New Job ->General check File Backup, set Archive Format to Tar and check Backup to Folder.
3. Save your job settings.
4. In Add New Job ->Files uncheck everything but Backup themes. Under the checked checkbox at Backup themes check everything but twentytwelve.
5. In Add New Job ->To:Folder make sure to set a folder that exists and is writable for BackWPup.
6. Run the job and post the logfile in a pastebin. Thanks,

In reply to: BackWPup 3.0.10 backups not completingThanks for your detailed info, AtomicT. Are those the complete logfiles or just excerpts?
At a quick first read-through I notice there are 2 different PHP versions in your logfiles. First log says 5.2.8, second log says 5.3.10. Have you tested on 2 different sites?Have you played with the settings yet? You could try this for instance, and/or this and see if it helps.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] I think I'm stuck at 28%@cloudduster You can try this: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/309-still-has-probs-uploading-to-dropbox?replies=3#post-4150263
Or split your file backup into multiple jobs, namely if you’re trying to backup a large directory like uploads or blogs.dir in multisite.
Also, would you post an anonymized logfile for me?@atomict Thanks. 😉

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Restore baseHi Pierre,
thanks for using BackWPup. Currently BackWPup does not provide a restore feature. We plan to implement taht feature into a future release of BackWPup Pro.
Generally speaking, you need to restore a) your files and/or b) your database.
Restoring your files is easy: unpack your file backup and upload its contents to the appropriate location on your server via FTP.
In order to restore the tables of a database, you’d need a access to your database via a tool like phpMyAdmin. Just google restore wordpress database phpmyadmin and you’ll find a bunch of tutorials. Maybe set your Google search setting to last year to be sure the info is valid. The WordPress Codex has a quick tutorial as well: http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Restoring_Your_Database_From_BackupForum: Plugins
In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error Sending Back Up to Email@jplus2 Thanks, issue filed.
Chad, can you do me a favor and post what the tooltip says when you place your cursor over the date in the log? If you can’t get a hold of the actual text with copy/paste, a screenshot via Droplr or Imgurl would do just fine. Thank you!

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] not workThanks for confirming, sclif. We’d super-appreciate if you’d update your star rating as well (right sidebar here), so other people can see on the reviews page that the issue has been solved for you.
Thanks,
CasparLooks like Amazon Web Services have just updated some of their APIs. In order to hotfix that error, you can do the following:
– Replace backwpup/sdk/aws/Aws/Common with http://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-php/tree/2.3.1/src/Aws/Common.
– Replace backwpup/sdk/aws/Aws/S3 with http://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-php/tree/2.3.1/src/Aws/S3.
– Replace backwpup/sdk/aws/Guzzle muss with http://github.com/guzzle/guzzle/tree/v3.4.3/src/Guzzle.
We’ll release an update soon.
Hello ChipsC,
BackWPup Free currently supports backups to:
– E-Mail
– FTP server
– your web space
– Microsoft Azure
– S3 services (Amazon, Google Storage, Hosteurope and more)
– Dropbox
– Rackspace Cloud Files
– SugarSyncBackWPup Pro provides some additional features for SugarSync, Dropbox, Rackspace Cloud Files and Microsoft Azure.
Our policy is to add other support storage services if a majority of our users request them. Implementing and maintaining support for a API can be very time-consuming, so we need to carefully evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
Cheers,
