yes, you can totally do that using BackWPup for creating a backup of your all your WordPress files. Download the ZIP file it to your computer, unpack it and re-upload it to the new location via FTP.
If you want to move to a new URL, try WP Migrate DB for exporting your database. It has a rename option for database table prefixes and URLs built right in.Forum: Plugins

BackWPup has become very popular in a relatively short time and Daniel, the author of BackWPup, has been working very hard to maintain its quality and availability as a free plugin. I know it may sound kind of vague, but we (meaning Daniel and the folks at MarketPress.com) are currently reviewing and optimizing our release process in order to keep up with BackWPups ever growing download numbers and ensure high quality in code. So yes, we’re moving —not back, though, but forward. 🙂

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Breaks stuff after updatePlease try this: Go to BackWPup -> Settings and check the option Restart on every main step. Then go down to Restart on archive creation and enter 200. Save your changes and try running your backup job manually. If it fails again, play with that 200 a little setting it lower until the job executes fine.

which tool do you use to unarchive ZIPs? I’ve used Keka lately, works like a breeze.
Is it a ZIP file? Or a .tar.gz?@eitanc Have your issues been solved with @webholism’s comment?
