In reply to: [Passwordless Login] Needs admin approve in 1.0.8@gabrielberzescu Please consider uploading 1.0.7 as 1.0.9. This way you won’t have more and more people running into this problem, and also it will be easy for us to get our sites working.

In reply to: [Passwordless Login] Login failsMarc, did you find a mistake in the plugin, or elsewhere?
Thank you.
I use gmail, and the only caching I have enabled is CloudFlare.
I am having this problem too, and it is definitely the same IP. In one tab, I request the unlock email. I switch to my email tab, open the email, click the link, and get the error:
Invalid key provided for authentication.
Have repeated this four times.
So, what is happening here? (I don’t understand why the IP address would have to match in the first place, but in this case, it clearly does match.)

In reply to: [WD WidgetTwitter] I got this warningI got the same error, but on a different line:
/wp-content/plugins/widget-twitter/admin/views/WDTIViewWidget.php on line 84Error appears at activation.
Kevin, if you have Wordfence, I think there is an option to just replace the file.
Yep. Ten thousand people (I made up the number, but obviously it is a lot) around the world have to research this issue. Your company does so many things well….and we all appreciate it…just think your code release procedure should be tightened up a bit in this regard.
This is a Windows OS. And other plugins install and upgrade without a problem.
Could it still be a file permission issue? I’m thinking, no, but I could be wrong.
Aside from troubleshooting the specific problem I am having, please advise me as to whether I could just delete the nextgen-gallery folder and replace it with the newest version. Would that cause problems with my previous images and posts?
Bill, did you ever get this resolved? I have the exact same issue…DesktopServer, trying to upgrade an old version of NextgenGallery.
Well, this discussion is good. I need to be really comfortable with my backup system–how it works, what gets stored where, etc. and your detailed responses really help. Given this clarification about the list of backups, I am loving this plugin. 🙂
Ah hah!
The six backups are for a random mix of WP sites. The one with the View Log button is the only one for the active site. Whatever the script is looking at to generate this list of backups, it is somehow garbled.
Two points that might be relevant:
1. These backups were all initiated from MainWP so they ran nearly simultaneously.
2. Destination for all backups was a single folder on S3.
