In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Ok so I don’t see anything different. Just want to check that where I’m putting it is the right place though…
So I’m not sure how to get to the page header (would I do this through my cpanel? What I have done, as it seemed like a quick and easy way to try it, is to use thesis hooks (which I have on the site anyway).
On hooks I have put it in WP Head which it says is ‘Equivalent to adding to wp_head in your custom_functions.php file.’ I have also asked it to ‘process PHP on this hook’. Does this sound like it ought to have the desired effect?
It doesn’t seem to be making a lot of difference to the way it opens.
btw – I HATE IE and I am very grateful for your help!

In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Hi Ravan,
Thanks for getting back to me. This is the link http://www.gardendesignco.co.uk/chiltern-estate. The issue is in IE 8 -I haven’t checked the other versions.
Thanks again for your help,
Sarah.

In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Hi Ravan,
Sorry to bother you again with this (and I suspect this is very bad ettiquette – I guess i’m probably supposed to change the status of these posts to resolved once they are – will remember to do it this time!) – but for some reason Fancybox seems to have stopped working in IE. I can’t remember if I have updated the plugin since I have checked it last. It still seems to be ok in Chrome and in Firefox.
Do you have any thoughts?
Many thanks,
Sarah.

In reply to: Password protecting pages — how does it work??Hi There,
I have several pages that are password protected. Is it possible to use a variation of this code that will allow all pages that are password protected to remain unlocked until the end of the session?
i.e. if you have entered the password once on any one of the protected pages you can view all of them without re-entering it. Then if you navigate away from the site and you go back in, you have to then re-enter the password.

In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Hi Ravan,
Sorry – I am getting there with the technical stuff but not that quickly it would seem!
Basically I think sorting out this issue is going to take me a long time to figure out. So I was wondering if I would be able to get you to fix it for me? I could pay you either by way of donation or straight invoice?
Is this something you’d be able to do for me? If so could you possibly contact me at [email protected]?
Many thanks,
Sarah.

In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Hi Ravan,
Sorry to bother you again but having been fine for ages, my gallery’s don’t seem to be working on any browsers now.
I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on why and what I might be able to do to rectify it???
Hi Josh,
Sorry – just one more thing – I love the flexibility that this plug in gives i.e. being able to use different sized slideshows etc but I was just wondering if you have any plans to get it uploading more than one image at a time?
As you have probably seen from the site i’ve been working on I have put a lot of images up and it has taken a reasonably long time!
Anyway – thanks for all your help with the plugin – I’ll make a donation to help with future development! 🙂

In reply to: NextGEN slideshow not working with Firefox v10Hi Ravan,
Thank you for your help – I did think it was odd as it had been working in Mozilla on a different machine. I do enjoy web design, but boy there are just so many variables!
Thanks for your suggestion re the opacity issue – I have put that code into my CSS style sheet (i’m using Thesis) I’m hoping that should do the trick?

In reply to: move nav bar below slider in 'WP Shower "Sight" themeHi Esmi,
Thanks – I did do that actually. Although it has already been answered in the past and it didn’t work for me.
So I thought i’d try on here.
Hi Josh,
Thank you – that’s great – all working well now!

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] [Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Fancybox with NextGen slideshowAwesome – you’re a genius! I just need to fiddle around a bit now with the image size etc to make it look a bit cleaner (don’t think the images were spot on 400 by 600).
Thank you so much for your help! Not sure if you’ll be adding this to the FAQ’s but could send you the link when i’ve finished it if you wanted an example to put on.
Will def be donating to the plugin – big thank thank you, I wouldn’t have figured this out by myself (on the upside my Christmas tree looks fab! :-))!
