In reply to: Deleting old WordPress siteI like using some things in JetPack in my self-hosted ww.wp.xz.cn site. Do I have to remove it in it’s entirety? If I remove it, will the old site just disappear?
It seems like there should be a way to delete the actual content from my old WordPress.com site (not just unlink to it), but, again, the .com people directed me to you.
If I really do have to get rid of JetPack in my .org site, will I lose the custom CSS that I put in through JetPack’s Custom CSS feature?

Regarding your answer, I’m glad you know why it is happening, but how do I undo it? I just looked at the Jetpack features and I see there is something called “WordPress.com Connect.” Will deactivating take care of the problem or is there something else?

Can you tell me why my Johnstonandalves.com site, which is a self-hosted ww.wp.xz.cn is showing up as my dominant site when I go to my old WordPress.com account? It shouldn’t even show up there. If there was a way to attach a screen capture, I can show you.
In any event, I will go to the other support forum.

A new, bigger problem is here, so I’m going to put the tag question aside. Should I start a new ticket? I am not getting notified of new subscribers. I know for a fact that three people have subscribed and I get no notifications and there is no evidence of them in my subscribers. I’m just Subscribers2 plugin and Jetpack’s wiget. The people who subscribed get the “are you sure you want to follow” notice and they confirm that they do, but I receive no notification at all.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Hiding tags without a child themeOh, I am sorry I missed your response earlier. I understand about the tags and dashboard now. I am using twenty twelve. http://www.gailperryjohnston.com. Is there a way I can hide the tags from others without making a child theme?
