In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Critical Error after updating to 5.6.0Hi, I updated from 5.5.4 to 5.6.0
I’m not using Learndash, it was never used on the site
I only received the error mail once, after updating the plugin. The plugin seems to be working OK.
Hi, yes I know it can be disabled completely. But I want to disable it conditionally, based on code. I am starting with the basic code provided but it is not working to hide on cart and checkout, before I even add any conditions.
Good Day, I have resolved this issue.
The cause was that customers who denied cookies were also blocking the cookie for pay.google.com. Consent providers such as CookieBot automatically categorise pay.google.com as a marketing cookie and not an essential cookie. When this cookie is blocked, the Square credit card fields do not appear.
The solution was to categorize pay.google.com as an essential cookie so that when visitors deny cookies, that one is still allowed.
So if anyone else has this problem, this is the solution.
OK, here are the updated logs : https://quickforget.com/s/571dea20858ba81e23b2133e726b0edb17bc96f7dd26d1bd
Thanks, here are the logs from yesterday, I don’t know what to look for so please let me know if you see anything to identify a problem : https://quickforget.com/s/7e9f397ef4d8da429a29d50789a966c30bed4c0b5a45a560
To answer your question, just to remind that this is not an issue that I am experiencing but is happening at intermittent times with various different customers, so it is not a caching issue on my browser.
Thank-you, I have checked with the hosting provider and there is no caching or optimisations in place there. There are also no further 3rd party plugins involved with optimisation or caching, apart from WP Rocket which is disabled.
Debugging has been enabled in the Square plugin over the past few days. Is there a way to get the logs to you privately? I don’t want to share those on a public forum – please let me know, thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately that did not work. I completely disabled WP Rocket plugin at 10am yesterday. By 6pm another customer reported the same problem, this time using Chrome browser on Windows desktop.
Hi, here is the shipping method setup on the site: https://pasteboard.co/GkdV1Q2P8GKt.jpg
The error occurs before the customer gets the chance to enter card details, the fields where you enter card details are missing, as well as the express checkout block. Here is a screenshot from a customer: https://pasteboard.co/K4tnwp5fSMBX.png
They are using Chrome on an Android phone with no browser extensions.
There is only one fatal error log, although it is dated 28th May and might not be related to this issue: https://pastebin.com/A2JjXsA3
System status report: https://pastebin.com/aqh17Hzy

In reply to: [Redirection] Can’t seem to get it to workSo I deleted and re-installed the plugin and it suddenly works… so perhaps something was wrong when it configured itself the first time around. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Redirection] Can’t seem to get it to workI tried the plugin on a separate live site and it works, I will need to diagnose further and check localhost settings. I’ll report back to assist anyone else who might have the same problem – thank-you.

In reply to: [Redirection] Can’t seem to get it to workHere’s a link to a screenshot of the redirects I have set up. Both return 404. The target URLS are valid pages.
Please ignore, I have solved the problem myself.
