FTP to the WPSuper Cache plugin found this in the readme.txt:
== If all else fails and your site is broken ==
1. Remove the WP_CACHE define from wp-config.php. It looks likedefine( 'WP_CACHE', true );
2. Remove the rules (see above) that the plugin wrote to the .htaccess file in your root directory.
3. Delete the wp-super-cache folder in the plugins folder.
4. Optionally delete advanced-cache.php, wp-cache-config.php and the cache folder in wp-content/.Worked like a charm – had to rebuild permalinks and reinstall WPSuper Cache and now I’m back up and running. And motivated to backup my sites more often 😉
Thanks to the developers for good documentation and an excellent product!

In reply to: How to apply Featured Posts Template to Static Blog PageSo maybe I should ask this a different way. Is there any way to apply the Featured Posts template (or something similar) to a page other than the home/front page?

In reply to: Permalinks broken after moving from Virtual Host to Root dirupload path is set to wp-content/uploads.
Most of the upload sub-directories are empty – even though I have posts from the missing months. However, most of those posts are html code of embedded video. Just to double check – I went to a post that had content in upload, a photo that was on my server. That post also didn’t work. Is this a settings problem or a database issue?

In reply to: Permalinks broken after moving from Virtual Host to Root dirI just published a new link. It’s a simple text post. I could preview the post, and it shows up on my main page, but still no navigation to the wp-content/upload/2010/09 directory.
