In reply to: Help Needed With Creating A Child Theme With Twenty TwelveWhile following that tutorial I have replaced everything that says, “twentyeleven” with “twentytwelve”. I’ve tried to add some styling to the site-title (same as in the tutorial). This is my first WordPress blog and my first attempt at a child theme so I haven’t done anything major to the blog. I could not locate any child css styling with Firebug or Chrome developer tools. ( I may be overlooking it though, but I doubt it)

In reply to: Help Needed With Creating A Child Theme With Twenty Twelve@samer Sultan, Nothing. I know this must be a rookie mistake. I’ve read older forum posts about this topic on this website and they didn’t help my situation. I don’t understand how it can be picking it up in WordPress and not actually affecting the theme. Even if I add no style and just leave the description info (and remove the “@import”) it doesn’t change a thing. If I’m understanding the way child themes work, shouldn’t that remove all the styling?
