ok thanks, I happened to notice that an order from a customer paid via PayPal and not by credit card did not arrive by email like the others, what problem could it be?
But in this case nothing has been done on the site, nor pages, contents or posts added so I don’t understand why there are no progressive numbers in the orders

I just add the code on my functions.php file, but does not work.
I tried with the Child Theme, with Ocean WP theme and with a default theme.
