Yeah, that has nothing to do with the question. Sorry, I should be more clear:

Under Settings -> Basic -> Access Settings, I have
File Browser Root explicitly set to a folder on the host (/opt/sample).
File Browser Access is set to Administrator and Editor.

For a user with the Administrator role, the contents of the Select From Server window corresponds to the contents of the /opt/sample directory that I explicitly set in the settings (which is the correct behavior).

For a user with the Editor role, the contents of the Select From Server window does not match the /opt/sample directory – rather, it is the contents of the wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/<username> directory. This is the incorrect behavior.

Expected behavior is that the File Browser Root would not be ignored only for certain roles.
