Hi,
Just and update,when I was trying the carousel shortcode I was placing said shortcode directly into page.
I’ve since discovered that if you place a row shortcode in my case I created a 1/3 and a 2/3 row, place carousel shortcode into either of the 1/3 or 2/3 the shortcode behaves nicely.

Not sure if we are on the same page here, but in order to change the background of the key features, go to Appearance>Theme Options>Key Features at the very top of that interface there’s a “Section Background Colour”.

Sorry, scrub that I’ve just found it 😉 If anyone needs to know, on the page you’ve created look to the screen options tab top right, you need to enable discussions.
Scroll down the page and un-check allow comments.
