 * Hi [@twentig](https://wordpress.org/support/users/twentig/) please add the ability
   to bring in extra Google Fonts to the selection.
 * The plug-in description says it offers _Google Fonts options (curated collection
   and custom Google Fonts)_
 * This is misleading if only the curated collection is available. You should probably
   update the description to match the plug-in,but it would be great if you could
   update the plug-in to match description.

 * Quick update – I answered my own question.
 * The array labels that were copied from our form labels included characters such
   as **&** and **/**.
 * Removing those got it to work.
 * Hopefully this topic will help others who fall into the same trap.

 * Hello
 * Thanks for taking an interest in this problem. The site is on 3.9.1 and the plug-
   in is at 5.0.6
 * It’s WordPress multisite, and the domain that’s having trouble is the parent
   site.
 * Kind Regards

 * Hello Namely
 * Thanks for getting back to us. We have moved on a bit since we posted that problem
   so I’m afraid we don’t have any data to share with you. We had this problem with
   two sites, each of which were on different types of servers.
 * I expect we’ll try this plug-in again one day and if we hit the same issue we’ll
   be back in touch. I’ll mark this topic as ‘resolved’ for now since it looks like
   no-one else has joined to say that have experienced the same thing.

 * We had this problem too. It looks as though using ‘this’ as in excludeposts=this
   no longer works, but it was OK if we put the actual post number instead of ‘this’.

 * Thanks for your suggestion. We have already rolled back the Calendar Plug-in
   to an earlier version and things are working ok again. We’ll wait for a later
   release before trying the update again.
 * It seems that this problem is somehow linked to custom post types. It seems quite
   widespread now. If you google the error message I provided you’ll see that it
   shows as page results for a number of sites that use this plug-in. The error
   message has now been incorporated into each site’s Google index.

 * quick follow-up. It occurs to me that the page that causes this error is a ‘portfolio’
   page. Other people talking about the same error online have mentioned the Testimonials
   plug-in. This might suggest that the problem has to do with custom post types.

 * Hello Kathryn
 * If the only file that’s got problems is wp-config, but all the other files and
   the database is still on your computer, I’m sure it will be possible for you
   to be able to access your site again.
 * It seems as though the first step should be to try to get your local development
   version working again, and then to worry about how to get it published on the
   web. The following link appears to give a clue about how to find out the database
   connection info that you would need to put into wp-config:
 * [http://www.microsoft.com/web/post/connecting-to-a-sql-server-or-mysql-database-in-webmatrix](http://www.microsoft.com/web/post/connecting-to-a-sql-server-or-mysql-database-in-webmatrix)
 * The last section on that page, titled ‘Sidebar: Storing Connection Information’,
   says that you can look in a file called ‘web.config’ to find out the database
   name, username, password etc.
 * I must admit that I haven’t personally used Microsoft WebMatrix to build a WordPress
   site, so this reply is based partly on some lucky web searching. Someone else
   on this forum is sure to jump in with advice based on direct experience of this
   product, but I hope what I have given here will help a bit.
 * Kind regards

 * Hello Kathryn
 * Even though you didn’t take backups yourself, it’s quite possible that your systems
   did. Windows has a feature called ‘previous versions’ that will let you go back
   to earlier versions of files, and Mac has something called Versions. If you’re
   trying to recover a file on your web server many web hosts take regular backups
   of your site for you, so it might be worth asking them.
 * If you can’t go back you should still be able to go forward. From what you have
   described, it sounds like the database you built up over the last couple of months
   is still there, but the site is having trouble connecting to it because the wp-
   config settings have been lost. You will be able to find out the Database Name,
   Database Username and Table Prefix. You’ll also be able either to change the
   user’s password or make a new user for the database so that WordPress will be
   able to connect to it again. When you have gathered that information you’ll be
   able to use this guide to work out where to put it in wp-config: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php](http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php)
 * To get that database information you’ll need to be able to access the database
   using phpMyAdmin (or something similar – it depends on your technical environment).
   Can you reply to this thread to say whether you’re able to look at the database
   using phpMyAdmin or not? If you’re not sure how to do this please tell us more
   about your development environment so we can work out a way for you to get at
   the database.
