The filter stopped working because of a permalink conflict. If a category slug had been used before — even years ago — then deleted and later reused, the filter would no longer function correctly. Changing the slug of the new or updated category resolves the issue. So no multilingual issue, the slug did not exist prior on our French site. I understand you need more info, but this is too time consuming I’m afraid. I was hoping it was a known issue. We rolled back. * It’s annoying how many bugs the Mollie plugin keeps having. They rolled out a fix yesterday and that was that. I do not have more information, we asked about it but received no response so far. The strange thing was that only one site was effected, and two other weren’t. So for us it remains vague as well.
