In reply to: uploads folderThat’s an interesting question, I wouldn’t see any problem in doing that and I would also be interested to know what your results are. I’m fairly certain that if you change uploads folder there is no problem there, however some plug-ins may use the uploads folder file path which may cause problems.
Did you make sure that absolutely everything got uploaded with FTP, I had a problem once where not every file uploaded and created problems for me.

However since you may have to wait a few days to get this plugin fixed, you should be able to rollback without any problems to earlier version. I just did it a few hours ago myself.
All you need to do is overwrite the files with the older version using FTP from the WP archives. Just make sure you backup your database just in case!

In reply to: Out of Memory when updating to 3.0.3Have you tried rebooting the server? (not just restart web services). I had an issue with my Linode VPS running nginx. I changed php.ini file and did not see any changes take place until I restarted the server.

I have also been testing Plugin Commander. Just curious, what version of WordPress are you running, I can’t manage to get it working on my WP 3.0.3

Just make a proper back of your SQL file and just to be safe export your wordpress data using the export feature.
I can’t get it to work period.

However each plugin will need to be deactivated if not required individually without deactivating across all the other sites.
The granular level of control that Plugin Commander offers seems like it should do the job (If I could get it to work).
