So that if the user selects only the date and then clicks away without selecting the time, then by default the time will remain as the one preselected. The reason being is that this would be the default behaviour in most cases (to preselect). * Alternatively, you would split those into 2 input fields so that you show the date in one and the time in another field and make sure you disable the hours accordingly. You need to know that this is a [PRO](https://www.inputwp.com/pro/) feature. (to have multiple Events/Input fields) * Let me know if that helps.
