In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Still indexed by Google & Co?Yes, every month Maxmind has an update. If you want to stay up to date you should upgrade regularly. If keeping the database is to much hassle you can use my servers to check the ip addresses via a yearly fee for the GeoIP API.
No services are not automatically blocked if you leave them unchecked. But if you for instance want to block the USA but still allow Google you should allow the google services of your choice.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] problem with GeoIP2 updateError logging might be accessible somewhere in your webhosting control panel. Or there might be more information on the help pages of your webhost.
I’ve never seen this behavior before so I am curious to what may cause this.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] problem with GeoIP2 updateHi,
It’s not very likely the error 500 is related to the upload of the GeoLite database. It might just be a coincidence. Do you have the error logging of your PHP that might tell a bit more what was going on

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] wrong ip detectedHi,
It should automatically add your webhosting provider ip to the whitelist as when you block the country of your webhost some functions may not work anymore.
Do you use a caching plugin or other caching solution?

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Completely NON working extension! It really depends on your installation if you for instance use a plugin for replies/comments it might be loaded before the iQ Block Country plugin and thus the first plugin does it’s job before the iQ Block Country plugin can kick in.
I’d be happy to help if you email support with a screenshot of the info on your tools tab and an export of your config.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Completely NON working extension!Hi,
No, not the resolving part. But that might also be a typo or an extra space or something.
But if you use caching you will cripple any geo blocking you want to do as the most popular (or all if you pre populate your cache) pages will be served from cache.
