 * I installed it on the cPanel as a .zip file into the themes folder in wp-content
   and then unzipped it so that the entire folder appeared.

 * I should also add – does it make a difference that I switched the nameserver 
   from wordpress to hostgator for my domain name? I thought they weren’t related,
   but just to throw that out there as well.

 * Also, I just logged back into my wordpress site and it said to continue to Appearance
   I need to update my database. Could this have anything to do with needing to 
   update WordPress or some other update problem? I did notice that there was a 
   $99/year option now when you register which I hadn’t seen before.

 * Thanks, I’ve found it but am not seeing any old posts. Do you know why this happens?
   My domain and hosting are up to date and I can’t find any glaring reasons why
   my site would disappear.

 * thanks, samuel! sorry i’m not exactly sure what you mean by checking the database.
   i’ve logged into the wordpress admin site and to my ftp site to look through 
   the folders. everything on my ftp site looks right, but the wordpress admin site
   is all blank.
