Hi Benjamin. I just updated the plugin to the latest version and now its uploading .gif image normally.

You’re correct, CIMO only optimizes images if they are uploaded through the WordPress Media Library. Otherwise, it can’t.

Yeah. All posted by WordPress are gone.Seems like, Jetpack app is under-development or disabled by Facebook.
What’s the matter?
Please solve the issue ASAP.
