In reply to: [Groups] Error warning on activationDisable other plugins except Groups and Groups WooCommerce, then re-enable individually to see which one is causing it. It’s not something that either of the two would cause.
Also try to Google the warnings, there are several similar issues reported with certain plugins.
Try using the ‘Text’ editor instead of the ‘Visual’ on that page please. It sounds like something’s messing up the markup and the visual editor inserting tags might be the cause.

There’s Groups Notifications (free) which allows to send notifications when users join or leave groups and Groups Newsletters (premium) which let’s you schedule newsletters (immediately or future date for all subscribed, not based on when users joined).

In reply to: [Groups] Can't see protected pages/posts in archive listing if logged outWhat you see is the intended behavior. The point of protecting those entries is so they don’t show up unless you are logged in and have the right to access them.
But if you just want those to show up in the menus and then have them directed to a page where they can log in, you can use custom links (Appearance > Menus > Links … input the URL and and Link Text instead of using choices offered in the other sections).
From what you say, I would assume you want to let them have a glimpse without showing the actual content. For that you can either protect the content inside the posts using the [groups_member] shortcode instead of protecting the whole post, or you can lighten the restrictions on post visibility which are imposed by the Groups_Post_Access class, based on the view that is offered of the post. For example, check whether it’s an archive and offer the excerpt.

The difference in the options is between editing one and showing it to the users themselves.

I’ve just tested this and there is a bug in Groups WooCommerce when you enable the ‘Show membership info …’ options under WooCommerce > Groups and the subscriptions plugin is not being used. I’m going to fix that and release an update to Groups WooCommerce.

@jkhongusc The changes from 1.3.12 to 1.3.13 shouldn’t affect what @tokyotony describes, I would suspect a conflict with another plugin.
