In reply to: [Groups 404 Redirect] This plugin depend on other pluginNo kiddin’ … well of course it depends on another plugin, it is an *extension* of the Groups plugin! It says so in the very first line of the description:
This plugin redirects 404’s caused by hits on pages that are protected by Groups

In reply to: [Groups] Powerful yet simpleHi there,
Thank you very much for the review and the suggestion as well. I’ve been holding back on changing things on the user interface yet, in favor of improving things behind the scenes. Bulk editing is a feature I miss myself and it’s going to be added soon. I’ve just pushed out the latest release which brings performance gains and some fixes, so I think now is a good time to start working on visible improvements.
Cheers

In reply to: [Groups] Nasty ERROR with latest Version!!!I’ve tried to get this error to happen on a test site with W3 freshly installed and a few hundred users but it doesn’t appear. Anyhow, I see when it can happen from the code, so I’ll review it and issue an improved version. Thanks again for reporting it 🙂

In reply to: [Groups] Import Users & batch add to groupThanks for writing that up Jason, if someone stumbles upon the thread it might help 🙂
Oh and about the force account creation at checkout, I’ve added it to the latest version. Make sure to update and then look at the settings in WooCommerce > Groups.

In reply to: [Groups] Groups duration for woocommerce/subscriptionsThe duration doesn’t apply to subscriptions. When creating a product and you switch from normal product to subscription, the duration field is still displayed – it actually shouldn’t be displayed anymore so you can consider this a bug, as the UI should be updated according to product type.
Thanks for mentioning it, will fix it for the next release.
Please post any further questions directly on the Groups WooCommerce plugin page http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/groups-woocommerce/ or in one of the support channels on http://www.woothemes.com/support/ – this forum is for the Groups plugin only, not for its extensions.

In reply to: [Groups] Import Users & batch add to groupDid you create a solution for this? I remember you asked me about it and I pointed you to the API https://twitter.com/JasonKadlec/status/319511880374829056 – was it useful?

In reply to: [Groups] Is it possible to disable capability inheritance? In this case the child groups shouldn’t be that, they should not have the administrator group as parent group 🙂
If you want the child groups to have some of the capabilities of the administrator group, you should rather do one of:
a) assign desired capabilities to each group
b) create a parent group for both the administrator group as well as the other groups, so that they inherit a set of common capabilities; then assign additional capabilities to the administrator group
