the thing is, i upgraded just like you said. just used the update button in the backend. i did not delete the plugin first! i did this on a test site, because i dont trust this plugin very much after having no support for a long! time with the last bug.
after that all customizations where gone! so i assume this is another bug. still not updating on the live site…

i finally dared the update on a testsite (clone)
the result is, that all customisations (settings) are gone and the default settings are back 😵💫
but the initial error is gone. i can save changes normally.

thanks for your sign of life and the feature updates.
new features are nice but i would prefer that you address our issues first. can you please refer to that? i won’t update before the saving issue is fixed.

this problem is a minor one and i found a way around it.
i am more concerned that i dont get support when there are major issues with an update like here:

please let us know what is going on and why there is no support from your side.
i still have not updated to a newer version since then. not being able to save and have a completely broken plugin does not make me trust the plugin anymore.

when trying to save the settings i get:
Error while saving the changes.
deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. nothing changed.
this is a very serious problem.
could you quickly provide the version 1.2 again for download please?

maybe put a little hint in the settings of the plugin. otherwise i think one would assume the full url is required. at least i was sure… 😉
