    After resorting to trial and error I figured out I needed to check box to disable sync for text element on 2nd slide. If this is not the real answer I would appreciate knowing as I’m not sure why this accomplishes correct sequencing.

    Thanks for getting back. Net is I got it to work just now. Creating the posts page and setting to static did the trick showing Landing as new “Home” and Posts page.

    Now I need to figure out how to reformat the Posts page which is set to display summary of most recent posts. This may be a theme thing but any advice/suggestions are very welcome.

    Thanks for answering. I did review and can get static to work but when I do my home page no longer appears on the landing page and is not available to select for “posts” on admin–>settings–>reading.

    I don’t know where to find it as it does not appear in my list of editable pages!?
