I have GreenGeeks and I am having the same issue. My site was upgraded to 3.9 as soon as the notice hit my inbox. In the meantime, my host was upgrading my site to a new server. They updated the files with v3.8.3. I am thinking this can be an issue. I am going to try to do a manual upgrade and see if it works.
This is Twenty-fourteen… As I stated before, the function worked perfectly 15 minutes prior to updating from 3.8.1 to 3.9. A tech needs to take a look at the code. The uri string includes the entire left side widget area. It’s as if a query string wasn’t closed in the code. Weird stuff…
