Could you give me a few more details about your setup? Was this a manual post excerpt or the automatically generated one? Is the theme you are using publically available? That would help me reproduce on my QA instances.

Hmm, sounds like something went wrong when Pterotype tried to register its tables. Are there any errors in your logs from when you activated the plugin for the first time?
Yup! If you have comment moderation enabled, the comment will be held for moderation; otherwise it will show up on the site immediately.
