Hello,
Just an update. I decided to delete and re-install the plugin because it was working when I first installed it. I think the problem started when I edited the “Manage Options” … I am setting it up again now if I run into the same problem I will let you know (and hopefully have a better idea of what I was adjusting when the problem strated).

Yes, I have used css to hide the alert and box with tick icon on the booking confirmation page, but like I said, I don’t think this is the best solution encase there are other places/situations which use an alert (the alert says “you can change your reservation by calling.. or email… this further implies the booking has been made and there are no other steps)

Yes I have seen that. Unfortunately on the ‘booking confirmation’ step – which is where the payment button is (not a great place for it) – there are few editable fields.
Good idea with translating – I could use that as a hack if I have to, but would really rather not. I’m sure I’m not the only person who wants clients to pay before the bookings confirmed.

I have found the issue. We require a booking to have a deposit (pay later is switched to ‘off’). Therefore the email confirmation do not come through until the payment is made.
The problem is that the step prior to the payment has a button which says ‘finalise’ which implies it is the final step. The next step with the “pay” buttons on an order confirmation page with little editable information. This makes people (including myself) think that they have completed the booking prior to making the payment.
I have changed what I can,
and am wondering:
1. Is there any way to change the text on the button which says ‘finalise’ to ‘next step’ so it people do not think they are finished when they stilled to make a payment?
2. I have used css to hide the alert which says you can change your reservation by calling … as well as the ticked box icon on the following step where the payment button is. Is there anyway to edit this information rather than hide it (I am concerned hiding alerts might have other unknown consequences)
3. Is it possible to have the option pay a deposit OR pay in full?Hope this helps someone else in this situation.

- I am reciveing the weekly report, it just the new booking notification email that is not coming through
- I have “enable assistant email on new booking” checked
- neither the admin or the assistant email come through

1. I have the latest verion of salon
2. I have tried disabling all plugins (there was only two) and
3. switching back to a standard themeStill no admin email coming through on a booking, just the customer email.
Could you tell me more about how the admin emails work? Does it use the email address for the WordPress admin or the email address found in salon contact email under settings – general – salon information ? I have checked both.

Ok, thanks. It was happening in safari not on one computer, but on another (both using safari). Anyway – yes we are happy to open in the same window and I have made the changes for that.

Although I did notice something in the process: when you click the login button the url changes to my site for a moment then back to the log in page. That explains looking like it is refreshing. I have a permanent redirect set up… maybe this is causing an issue?
