Having the same issue on one of my sites, the one site running on a IIS machine.
Running the most current version of both WordPress and BackWPUp (as of this writing anyway, 03.20.2013).
Any resolutions to this found?

For clarity changed lines 963 & 964 from:
COOKIEPATH, str_replace('http://www','',get_bloginfo('url')));to just one line:
