All works now – it was my mistake. I was using shortcode of :
[wpb_category_accordion menu=”menu66″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]
instead of
[wpb_menu_accordion menu=”menu66″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]So all fine now. Thanks for investigating, and helping me to fix – so quickly.
I have no opened ticket #5814 (WPB Accordion Menu or Category – cannot get free version to work with menus.)

(as though doesn’t pick up “menu=” in the shortcode!)Thanks for suggestion. I tried this, but just displays the Categories, as accordion, and not the Menu. This seems always to be happening now.
Switched to free theme Hesta – and now works for Categorys widget.
