In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sorting columns as numericI started to realize that when testing some other stuff. I think my best option maybe to keep the numbers in one column and add any text in a second column right next to it and try to size those columns to be minimum width.
One problem I found with this approach is that if I don’t have anything in the rank column, then that blank cell gets sorted first instead of last. I’ll play around with these options and if I find a good solution I’ll repost here in case anybody else can use a solution. Thanks so much for always being so responsive!!! In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sorting columns as numericI actually just added another column on a test table and it looks like it’s actually cycling through ascending, descending, and then original order as displayed. We just happen to have it in the right order originally so that’s what is showing up. That can be seen by sorting the two different ranking columns here: https://collegestunt.org/testrankings/

Thank you for the reply! Would love to have this as an option for the dropdown field!
Thank you for the reply, itsmir. I actually went in before and set the backgrounds on the select to red to see if anything occurred there, and it didn’t help. I just put in that CSS in the field settings and it’s still the same. Looking to see if I can find a theme issue that’s overriding this.

In reply to: [Total] Home Slider not showingMight have found it.
I went into the page I created (Join our group) and on the Page Attributes section on the right, under “Templates”, I saw “Home Page”. I clicked that and published, and it seems like the world changed on my site! Now on to figuring out the rest, but I hope that helps someone.

In reply to: [Total] Where is slider?Would love any response to this topic. Anyone out there?
I found the “uninstall” under the Admin Tools in Settings, reinstalled and it’s all good.
I’m sorry. Apparently I’ve screwed this up entirely. I tried making both the same name and didn’t do anything. I changed them all back to events and locations and didn’t do anything. I deleted the plug in, which apparently left the db tables? So I deleted those and tried to start fresh. So now I can delete the list of existing locations and events, but can’t add any. Reinstalling the plugin didn’t recreate the db tables I deleted. How can I remove this plugin entirely and start over?

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Match Day questionsThank you very much. As I explained before, we might have a “meet” where several teams are invited to play, but it isn’t a “tournament” style. It is counted as part of the regular season. It’s just a way to have teams come to one place to play several games and save money and travel time.
I’ve tested this out by creating a match day called “Hofstra 12-10” to designate the home team and date for this meet, and applied it to each of the games being played there. It seems to work out.
Is there a better way to do this, or is this the way you would accomplish what we’re trying to do?
Locations permalink is “spots” (used to be “locations”)

The “Locations” page that I have set in the Settings->Pages->Location List/Archives is http://rawkngrub.com/locations/Events permalink is “gigs” (used to be “events”)

The “Events” page that I have set in the Settings->Pages->Event List/Archives is http://rawkngrub.com/events/The WP permalinks page shows Post Name: (http://rawkngrub.com/sample-post/)
I’d be glad to hand you the keys to take a look at it. It’s baffling me.
